2010 Conference Proposals Forms

Arizona Educational Research Organization's 23rd Annual Conference,
"Education’s New 3-R's:  Reforming, Reimagining, Reinventing" will take place November 5th, 2010 at University of Phoenix's Mesa Campus. Located at 1620 S. Stapley Drive, Mesa, AZ

Deadline: September 15, 2010.

Papers and Posters must include:
- A completed Proposal Submission Form
- A one page Summary of the Study that includes the objective or purpose, methods, data sources or evidence, and results and/or conclusions.
 
Symposia Proposals must include:
- A completed Proposal Submission Form
- A single abstract for the symposium
- A list of titles and author(s) and outcomes for each presentation.
 
Professional Development Sessions:
-These sessions may deal with procedures and topics such as curriculum alignment, data driven decision-making, data displays, test interpretation, and statistical and psychometric procedures. Proposals should describe the topic and content, target audience, audience outcomes, maximum number of participants and time needed.
 

Proposals will be acknowledged electronically.



Best Paper Award

Graduate students, untenured faculty members, and teacher-researchers are encouraged to submit copies of their AERO paper to be considered for the “AERO 2010 Best Paper Award”. The paper selected will be automatically included on the AERA 2011 program.

American Educational Research Association AERA – Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Friday, April 8 – Tuesday, April 12, 2011

The author(s) will be awarded $250* in travel support to attend the AERA meeting.

To be considered, please Select the option for Best Paper on the submission form and submit a final copy of your AERO paper electronically to Cynthia McCahon at csmccaho@mpsaz.org by October 27, 2010. Please submit only if you have a reasonable expectation that you will be able to travel to the 2011 AERA Meeting in New Orleans to present your paper.

*Funds are to support travel and are not awarded unless the paper is presented at AERA.
